Polestar CM Inc provided peer review on design consultants’ contract documents, and reviewed the contract breakdown and suggested adjustments. We reviewed monthly progress draws and submitted Bank Reports to the Peoples Trust for use in authorizing payment as well as comparing actual project costs to original project budget. Finally, we provided budget verification services and reviewed compliance with architectural drawings.

Built in the 1950’s for heavy industrial use, the Copper Cliff refinery presented a unique set of challenges to the design and construction team. Through the use of creative thinking and sound construction methodologies, Polestar was able to take a bold new approach to engineering office space within the Vale community and far exceed branding expectations. Existing facility maintained full operation through a phased construction approach.
